Focus: Leavey Library
For our first assignment for Design III, we were told to do a project on space. I chose the USC Library, Leavey Library, as my space and chose to present my work in the format of an unconventional brochure. The two images are displayed on a two sided poster that doubles as a 8 panel brochure. The left image is on the front, representing the current state of Leavey Library - bleak, chaotic, and a space that’s hard to focus in. When the viewer opens up the brochure, the back would be revealed showing the “after” of Leavey Library if it were to go through a redesign of its space. I chose to keep my designs simple and convey the different feelings through typography and colors.
